Tony McKenna has over 20 years' experience in the contract catering industry, having worked for major contractors in both operational management and business development.

What's so special about Cater Link?

  • We are passionate about good food at work, school, college and in the healthcare environment.
  • Our pioneering 'Fresh Food Policy' has been enthusiastically welcomed by schools and is widely recognised as having helped pupils to eat more healthily.
  • Our management and staff are friendly and, above all, accessible.
  • Our area managers are proactive and we achieve this by deliberately limiting their workload to an average of 10 contracts.
  • We listen to our customers and actively encourage them to tell us what they think of our service.

"We were keen to find out whether Cater Link could deliver better results - our reputation as a school depends heavily on the quality of our catering - not just the results we achieve at GCSE and 'A' level! Their approach is to take as much pressure as possible off the school, leaving us to get on with what we do best. It's a partnership that is working really well."

John Pratten, Business Development Manager, Box Hill School

"Cater Link's emphasis on fresh food has meant significant changes to the menu choices available here since they won our catering contract. There has been a definite improvement in quality and I am satisfied that the response we're getting indicates greater satisfaction from our pupils, staff and parents."

Graham Pribul, Bursar, Woodford Green School.

"Cater Link are very professional and approachable, listen to our needs and respond quickly if a problem arises, following through by doing what they say they'll do. In this day and age, a level of responsiveness on this scale is unusual."

Notre Dame Junior School, Lingfield, Surrey.

"In the past, once a caterer was installed they tended to sit back on their laurels and the service deteriorated. With Cater Link there has been a steady increase in daily revenue and no problem with shrinking portions here!"

Nigel Blackburn, Head Teacher, Hayesbrook School, Tonbridge, Kent.
